ISUF Conference Grants for Researchers from Least Developed Countries
The International Seminar on Urban Form / ISUF offers two grants to support participation with paper presentation in its 2026 annual conference in Santiago de Chile. These grants are intended for researchers who are both originally from, and currently based in, Least Developed Countries / LDC.

Each grant covers the conference registration fee and provides support for flights and accommodation, up to a maximum of €1,500 per recipient.
Applications should be sent to the ISUF president at vitorm@fe.up.pt by 10 April 2026. The call for papers has already been launched, with submission scheduled for 17 February and notification of acceptance on 23 March. The jury will be chaired by the ISUF president and will include two members of the ISUF Executive Committee and/or Council.
Applications should include:
- the accepted abstract;
- a document confirming eligibility under the LDC criteria; and
- a one-page letter of motivation describing the applicant’s interest, as well as past and on-going research in urban morphology.
